Volunteers Needed!
Cockburnspath Community Shop, Café and Village Hall are always grateful for the support of local volunteers. Even just a few hours a month can make a real difference and help keep these important community spaces running for everyone to enjoy.
Whether it’s helping in the shop, supporting the café, assisting at events, or lending a hand around the Village Hall, there are lots of ways to get involved. Volunteering is also a great way to meet people, learn new skills and support the local community.
If you would like to help, no matter how little time you can offer, the team would love to hear from you.
Community Shop

We need more volunteers. Even a few hours a month helps us serve our wonderful community.
Pick up a form in the shop, or call 07460 842845!
Community Cafe

We are always looking for new Volunteers, either helping in the cafe, in the kitchen, or with the baking.
If your interested in giving as much or as little time as you can, please speak to Sally in the cafe.
Village Hall

We are looking for more Trustees to join our fantastic team: Johnny Hood (Chair), Stuart Hope (Treasurer), Robert O’Riordan (Secretary) and Jim Riley.
If you are able to give some of your time or know someone you may be interested in becoming a trustee, please speak to one of us.
Newsletter Delivery

We’re looking for a few volunteers to help deliver our community newsletter.
The newsletter is distributed just once every two months, and volunteers are usually assigned a route within the area of the village where they live.
It’s a great way to support our community with only a small time commitment. If you’d be willing to help, please email cccommunityhub@outlook.com – we’d love to hear from you!
